Summer Essentials // 6 Must-Haves

Hey Guys!!

If you can’t tell by now I LOVE summer! Since I also live on an island where it’s practically summer 365 days a year, why not? If you’re unsure what to do this summer check out my list of 10 Activities to do. However, today I’m here to share 6 of my “must have” items for the season!

BIKINIS/SWIMSUITS

It doesn’t matter where you are *well once it’s summer* you NEED a bikini. Even if you don’t have remote access to a beach, check out a pool or water park. These are two styles I’ve been eyeing for this summer; I found these from instagram: neishonline & hibootyswim *haven’t purchased, pretty sure they’re on other sites*

10 Activities To Do This Summer

Woohoo It’s finally Summer.

Well, it officially started last week Wednesday with the longest day of the year.

By now, school should be out and I know most of you have been looking forward to this season for a time to relax.  Usually on summer vacations however, after the first two weeks when you’re all caught up on rest it starts to get boring.

That’s why I’m here to help you out!
If you know you’ll have a lot of free time and unsure of what to do with it, check out my list of activities you can do this summer.

P.S. – Even if you’re not free from school (summer semester) and have extra time on weekends/after work feel free to try an activity.

GET CRAFTY

Check out Pinterest for Summer DIYs that you can do in your spare time. Maybe there was a project you saw somewhere that you always wanted to do? You can make a few things to redecorate your room/apartment/office and even gift them to friends/family.

BE ACTIVE

Okay, maybe you didn’t work on that Summer body during the spring or had enough time during school. Well now you have all the time to get your body ready for the next season. Generally though you should always try to remain active for good health. Try a recreational sport, join a gym or simply walk/run in your neighborhood.

Read good books, eat well or at least well enough, be active, sleep. Start caring for oneself. Spring. Rebirth. Metaphor. Words.

Motivation Monday #7 // “Adulthood is Where Dreams go to Die”

MM

It’s been a while, huh?
How do you motivate others when you yourself have no motivation?

However, I finally found some and came to share it with you.
I don’t know how many of you picked up on the hint in my title what this post would be about. If not, it’s about #GirlBoss; this has been on my reading list for a while now, but last week Netflix premiered a show.
We all know I had to binge watch; however, I’ll still be reading the book *it’s currently on its way*. Continue reading “Motivation Monday #7 // “Adulthood is Where Dreams go to Die””

Netflix, No Chill

Hey Guys!!

As you may or may not know I AM A TV SERIES ADDICT *don’t worry I know my limits*. What can I say? I have a lot of free time and it’s so easy to get wrapped up in shows. Binge watching shows isn’t all bad; it could be a stress reliever in some ways. Think about the idea of forgetting about all your problems for a couple of hours and getting entangled in another world. Seems safe enough right?

So I watch a variety of shows, but I think they mainly revolve around supernatural beings, teenage drama, action films and marvel series. This list is mainly what I’ve binge watched recently and currently watching on TV.

So besides my ‘Lessons learned from my Exes‘ post I don’t think I’ve ever spoken about relationships on here. Which by the way it doesn’t seem like I learned anything, but also because it’s a touchy/complicated thing for me.

However, Let’s talk! Continue reading “Let’s Talk: Relationships”

Get to Know Me Tag

Hey Guys!!

Due to the growth in followers/views recently, I decided to do a fun little ‘Get to Know Me Tag‘. I thought it would be a great way to reintroduce myself as well as let my new viewers know who I am. I don’t think I’ve ever done one of these before, so the only option previously was to visit my About Me page.
I found this tag online via Root Report and you’re welcome to try it out if you’d like.

(This is me currently, peep the hair growth)

Here we go, get to know me —>

If we were having coffee // February Roundup

Hey Guys

I decided to start this new series that I’ve seen on other blogs as a roundup of what’s been happening in my life each month. It’s basically an imaginary scenario where ‘if we were having coffee‘ what would I share with you; sort of like a chatty catch-up session. So let’s get into it.

4 Lessons My Ex’s Taught Me

Hey Guys

So Valentine’s Day is finally over *phew* After having to scroll through social media and witness all the “lovey dovey” posts, I recalled a question that I always seem to get asked “Why are you single?” then there’s the continuation of why they think I shouldn’t be.

Well, perhaps I’m crazy or something *jk*. Anyways,  I’ve been single for almost three years and I’m not even sure I’m ready for another relationship. Instead I’ve been thinking about the things I learnt from my previous relationships and how I can act upon them to make the next one really work.
